Eco-Friendly Expo in Tokyo
A large exhibition showcasing eco-friendly products and services has opened on Thursday in Tokyo.
More than 500 companies and organizations from across Japan have put new products.
One exhibitor from central Japan is presenting a house using polystyrene foam. It is well insulated and allows the use of air conditioning to be cut back.
A solar power system firm in Tokyo is displaying a portable solar panel that weighs just 2 kilograms.
A visitor said, “I hope the problem of global warming improves.”
The exhibition continues until Saturday.
