Kim, Kourtney Kardashian “Respond To Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Scandal” Is Untrue Clickbait

Kim and Kourtney Kardashian did not “respond to Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal.” This is 100 percent untrue clickbait, Gossip Cop can confirm. As a number of outlets have rightly noted, no one in the family has publicly commented on Thompson being unfaithful to Khloe Kardashian.

But RadarOnline is trying to trick readers with a headline that announces, “Boy, Bye! Kim & Kourtney Respond To Tristan Thompson’s Cheating Scandal.” The accompanying story begins with the site claiming the sisters are “not staying silent about Tristan Thompson‘s cheating scandal.” To support its premise that Khloe’s older siblings “took to social media to respond to the drama,” the blog points to Kim posting to Twitter a photo of herself and Kourtney on Wednesday with the caption, “Okkkkkkuuuuuurrr.” Because the slang is “Khloe’s go-to catch phrase,” the website wants fans to believe the post was about her.

As for Kourtney, the online publication maintains she shared “the same photo of her and Kim” on Instagram with the caption, “you got green on your mind, i can see it in your eyes.” Apparently the site didn’t look too closely at the two snapshots because, even though they were obviously taken in the same setting, they are not, in fact, the “same” exact photo. Kourtney is looking down in the image Kim posted and is looking ahead at the camera in the one she herself posted.

The pictures are from their recent trip to Turks & Caicos, and both stars have spent the last few days uploading photos from the vacation. These postings have nothing to do with Thompson, who was not on the trip, nor was the pregnant Khloe. There is no basis for connecting them to the cheating scandal, and Kim’s other social media posts prove it.

As Kim’s Twitter feed shows, she also on Wednesday shared a picture of herself, Kourtney and a pal posing on a golf cart during the trip. And on Instagram this same day, Kim also posted a snapshot of her feet with the caption, “Far Far Away.” By RadarOnline’s logic, these, too, must be a response to Thompson’s scandal. Of course, such a theory makes no sense, and no reputable publications have attempted to draw the same flimsy conclusions. On the contrary, other places like Buzzfeed have noted fans are mad with Kim for posting vacation photos amid Khloe’s apparent crisis.

The postings are not being interpreted by others as a response to Thompson’s cheating because that irrational conclusion is entirely unsupported. Furthermore, Us Weekly rightly pointed out in a story about whether Khloe will leave Cleveland, “No members of the Kardashian-Jenner family have publicly commented on Thompson’s alleged infidelity.” Yet RadarOnline is asking readers, “What do you think of Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s responses to Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal?”
